Sausage and Egg English Muffin

I found a great, healthy(ish) breakfast that my picky eater loved. Breakfast can be very predictable, so I decided to switch things up a little. I am entering a new difficult phase in that I am trying to feed my picky eater some healthier foods. This only took me about 10 minutes to make (if that), and he loved it!!

Ingredients:
  • Jimmy Dean Turkey sausage patties (you don't have to get the turkey kind, but my guy didn't notice the difference, and it's half the calories and fat)
  • One egg
  • English muffin (preferably whole wheat, which is what the calories in this are based on, but regular ones aren't that much higher in calories)
Directions:
  • Scramble the egg (add a little salt)
  • Toast the english muffin
  • Microwave the sausage patty
  • Put the egg and sausage on the patty, and enjoy!!!
  • If you're feeling wild and can risk the calories, throw on a piece of cheese!
This has an estimated 230 calories (not including cheese), which isn't bad at all. So enjoy this low-cal breakfast!

Love,
